A Safer Riding Experience
Turning a cautionary adage on its head, the rise of ridesharing apps proves that getting in the car with strangers can be safe and efficient.
There used to be the old saying, '“don’t get in the car with strangers.” Now we have an entire industry based on people getting in the car with strangers going to different destinations.
Ridesharing applications are now more popular than ever. It has now taken over the market and become the standard as people now prefer the ridesharing applications over taxis. Now the objective is to make sure riders feel safe.

Research
To enhance safety measures for Uber users, I conducted research to identify key concerns and expectations of Uber riders. Through surveys and user research interviews, we uncovered critical issues related to safety features and user experiences. This research informed the design of new safety measures aimed at increasing user trust and ensuring a safer ride-sharing experience.
Lyft
Offers expertly curated playlists across various genres and moods, regularly updated by Apple Music editors and industry experts. The social features are limited, making it difficult to share music and playlists with friends or see what they are listening to.
Alto
Features unique, artist-curated playlists and high-quality music videos that provide a rich, immersive listening experience. The social features are not as robust, with limited options for discovering what friends are listening to or sharing playlists.
YellowCab
Provides highly personalized radio stations and playlists based on user preferences and listening habits. Social features are minimal, making it challenging to connect with friends or share music and playlists easily.

Most users stated that they liked that all of the feature are laid out in way that looks really good.

Overall, users stated that they liked all the features that were able to be shown on the app and how easily accessible they were

Guided by user insights gleaned from rigorous testing phases, I meticulously refined the wireframes into a polished final design that embodies both aesthetic appeal and optimal usability.
